Influencer event Vins Alsace

The Alsace is known as one of the sunniest wine regions in France, and is home to aromatic terroir wines. We work for this unique wine region on the basis of annual plans for more than 12 years. One of the many activities we are proud of is described below.

Challenge

Activating major influencers from the Dutch gastronomy and wine trade to experience wines from the Alsace (again). A target group with a very busy schedule, who do not easily accept an invitation.

Campaign

The Alsace has the most starred restaurants in France. So we brought the Alsace to the Netherlands at a highly exclusive dinner at starred restaurant Joelia of Mario Ridder. We designed an invitation campaign in which the sender initially remained anonymous. We kept giving hints as the event approached.

Results

A campaign that did not go unnoticed! A strong and highly personal structure in terms of communication. A save-the-date, then a teaser build-up followed by a physical invitation and of course the Vive l’Alsace dinner itself at Joelia as the climax of the campaign.

We used a good mix of offline and online advertising, supported by social media. And, last but not least: all the relevant influencers at the table. From Sabas Joosten (De Librije), wine journalists Esmee Langereis and Sharon van Lockhorst and importers to various lifestyle bloggers.
